Welcome! Our laboratory conducts social and decision science, with specific interests in health, learning, and economic outcomes. The following are our current lines of inquiry.
Framing and Consumer Decision-Making. In this line of work, we are investigating the influence of loss- and gain-framing on career, investment, and consumer decision-making.
Scarcity, Mind Perception, and Morality. In this line of work, we are studying the relationship between economic scarcity, mind perception, and moral decision-making in triage contexts.
Autonomy, Culture, and Motivation. In this line of work, we are interested in the role of autonomy-supportive and restrictive-framing on academic and health motivation, within and across cultures.
Social Anxiety and Active Learning. In this line of work, we are studying the effects of social anxiety on students’ classroom experience during socially interactive (“active learning”) activities.
